Lead found in structures, materials and water can be harmful to children, at-risk adults, workers and animals.  Lead can enter the body by breathing or swallowing substances that results in a gradual build-up in the body over a prolonged period of time.  Exposure symptoms include developmental delays and/or learning difficulties in children, irritability, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, elevated blood pressure, muscle and joint pain.
